About the race
The Summer Night 5K takes place Friday August 28th, 2026 on John Street west of Richmond beside Delilah's in downtown London. The event is hosted at Delilah's and centers on short road and path races with post-race refreshments.

- Kiddy Trot (about 150 metres)
The 5k is an out-and-back along the newly paved Thames River Path System, starting and finishing at Delilah's. The 2k follows the first kilometre of the 5k course; much of that opening kilometre is downhill, which makes the second half of the 2k uphill. The Kiddy Trot is roughly 150 metres and is intended for children aged 1 to 12; parents may run alongside registered children.
Late registration and race kit pick-up are available at SoleScience (627 Maitland St, London, ON) and on race day at Delilah's. Washrooms are available at Delilah's; there are no showers. Light refreshments are provided after the races, and all runners receive a burger and beer (beer for those aged 19 and over) courtesy of Delilah's.
All pledges from the event go to Bereaved Families SWO. The event includes draw prizes for participants (must be present to win), overall and masters awards, age-group merchandise, and event record bonuses paid as SoleScience gift cards.
