2026 Summer Dash 5k & 10k
The Summer Dash 5k and 10k is an organized race at Black Hill Regional Park, 20930 Lake Ridge Dr, Boyds MD 20841. The event awards series points toward the organizer's Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack series, and toward the Summer Series. A virtual race option is also offered.

The route is paved and contains a number of rolling hills. The 10k is not run as two laps. The event is chip timed and registered finishers receive a finisher coin and a technical (DriFit) event shirt when available. Water stations for the 10k are placed at approximately mile markers 1, 3.1 and 5.2. Two water stations are placed on the 5k course, and some stations will offer Gatorade. Restrooms are available inside the park.
Registration fees are published for each distance and increase after the early deadline; an additional fee increase applies on race morning. T-shirt guarantees apply to runners registered before July 8, with extra shirts available afterward on a first-come first-served basis. Race day registration and packet pickup are available at the event, and race officials post live and final results after the event. The race partners with Operation Turbo for charity work.
Awards include top three men and women overall and age group awards across multiple categories; overall top three finishers are not eligible for age group prizes.
