Boxers & Briefs 5k : Ashburn, VA
The Boxers & Briefs 5k is a themed running event held March 21 to 22, 2026 at the Broadlands Community Center in Ashburn, Virginia. The event includes an in-person 5k (3.1 miles) and a Virtual 5k (3.1 miles) option. Participants are encouraged to wear boxers or briefs over their clothes, under their clothes, or as their clothes during the run.
Registered in-person participants receive a choice of a pair of cozy slippers or a soft blend long sleeve shirt, plus the event medal presented at the finish line. Virtual participants will have race swag mailed to the address provided at registration and may submit their 3.1 mile time via an emailed link.
The event collects new packages of boxers and briefs for donation to local organizations. Donors of new underwear, socks, or bras are entered to win fitness related prizes. The race names Rocky Cares as its charity partner; Rocky Cares raises awareness and funds for Ewing sarcoma research, provides an annual scholarship at Heritage High School, and supports community initiatives connected to the organization.
