Summer Breeze 2026
The Summer Breeze 2026 is an annual running event held in San Leandro, California. The 16th edition of this event takes place on August 1, 2026, with the main assembly area located at 14001 Monarch Bay Drive. Participants can choose from three primary distances, all of which feature a flat course along a bayside trail that remains close to the water for the majority of the route.
The available distances for the event include:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The course is designed for a variety of movement types, as hikers and walkers are permitted to participate. A specific early start option is also available for those opting for the Hiker Half Marathon. For participants who cannot attend the physical location, a Remote Runner registration option is provided.
All participants receive a race shirt and a finisher medal upon completion. Additionally, custom age group medals are awarded. The event partners with several fundraising organizations, including Team Cancer Sucks and the Regional Parks Foundation Campership Program.
