Race Overview
The Florida Financial Advisors Summer Beach Run features three events: a 5 mile, a 5K, and a one mile run/walk. This marks the 60th running of the event. All finishers in each distance receive a medal.

Event Features
The course is an out-and-back route on the beach, run near low tide. Digital clocks are positioned at each mile, and water stations are located every mile. The race includes a post-race celebration with free beer and pizza at the Seawalk Pavilion.
Awards are presented for the 5 mile and 5K races. The 5 mile is part of the Jacksonville Grand Prix series. Prize money is awarded to the top three overall men and women in the 5 mile, with qualifying time standards. Age group awards are given for both distances.
The event is also part of the Miller Lite Summer Race Series, which includes other local races. Series prizes are awarded for top overall and age-group performances.
Registration and Logistics
Packet pickup is available at select store locations on the Thursday and Friday before the race, and at the race site on the day. Discounts are available for JTC Running members, and for participants aged 17 and under or 65 and over.
Parking is available in a large lot near the Seawalk Pavilion for a fee. Additional street parking is available further away, and a public trolley serves the area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
