Sullivan Lake Triathlon 2026
The Sullivan Lake Triathlon is a sprint triathlon held at Sullivan Lake Recreational Area in the Colville National Forest near Ione, Washington. The swim takes place in Sullivan Lake from the Noisy Creek Campground boat launch. The bike follows Sullivan Lake Road with a turn around at Mill Pond Campground and returns toward the Noisy Creek Day Use Area. The run goes back out to Sullivan Lake Road and reaches the Harvey Creek Bridge before returning to the finish at the Noisy Creek Day Use Area.
Distances include:
- Sprint triathlon: swim 750 m, bike 20 km, run 2.5 km
- Youth super sprint: swim 500 m, bike 10 km, run 3 km
- Adult and team total distance listed as 25.75K
All participants receive a t-shirt, swim cap and racing bib. Finishers of the main event receive a finisher medal.
Lodging and camping options are available nearby. Mill Pond and Moon Flats campgrounds are fee free, first come and first serve and can accommodate a 25 foot RV without hookups. East and West Sullivan Lake Campgrounds and Edge Water Campground are fee based and accept reservations through Reservation.gov.
