Metaline Falls Bigfoot 5K Race & LittleFoot Kids Run
The event includes three separate options. The main Metaline Falls Bigfoot 5K takes place on a Saturday in June. A separate LittleFoot Kids Run for participants aged 13 and under takes place on the following Sunday. A virtual 5K option is also available where race swag is mailed to participants.
The in-person 5K course starts in downtown Metaline Falls. The route goes up and down Lehigh Hill, passes the historic Cutter Theatre, runs along the Pend Oreille River, and finishes at Busta Park.
The registration fee for the 5K includes a long-sleeve technical shirt, a finisher medal, and post-race snacks. Medals are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in men's and women's categories.
Packet pickup for the 5K happens at Busta Park on the Friday before the race and on race day Saturday.
The LittleFoot Kids Run is a non-timed fun run starting and ending at the Cutter Theatre. Participants can choose to run either a 1K or 2K distance. All kids receive a shirt and a finisher medal. Parents may participate with small children without registering.
