Suicide Prevention Services: Run For LIFE! 5K Run/Walk : Batavia, Illinois
This event is a community 5K run/walk presented by Suicide Prevention Services Batavia. It is scheduled for June 6, 2026, at Laurelwood Park, 800 N River Street, Batavia, Illinois, with a route that runs along the Fox River. All proceeds will benefit Suicide Prevention Services in Batavia.
The event offers separate registration categories for adults (19 and over) and youth (18 and under). Adult registration fees change by date, and shirts are guaranteed only for participants registered by May 17, 2026. Race day packet pick up and on-site registration are available.
Awards are given after the 5K. There will be one overall male and one overall female winner and male and female age-group awards in the following brackets: 18 to 25, 26 to 35, 36 to 45, 46 to 55, 56 to 65, 66 to 75, and 75 and up. Participants aged 17 and under are not eligible for age-group awards but will receive finisher medals.
The event includes fundraising options. Participants can create and customize personal fundraising pages with goals and progress meters. Teams may be formed for fundraising; suggested team types include churches, workplaces, clubs, or groups of friends. Organizers provide guidance on how to set up fundraising pages.
