Course and race features
The course follows paved paseo trails along the Santa Clara River and is described as mostly flat. The Half Marathon and 10K use loop routes; the 5K and Kids Fun Run are out-and-back. The final stretch finishes across the historic Iron Horse Bridge, a structure built in 1898 and repurposed for the trails in 2012.
Runners receive a custom finisher medal and a complimentary Ben & Jerry’s ice cream at the finish. The event provides multiple aid stations along the course with water, electrolytes, gels, chews, salt capsules, and snacks.
