Submariner 10K and 5K
The Submariner event features two distances: a 10K and a 5K held at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, located at 1010 USS Proteus Blvd, Kings Bay, GA 31547. The race field is limited to 500 participants.
All entrants receive a unisex t-shirt and custom race bibs. All finishers receive a medal. Additional event items include a goodie bag that contains a glass. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, September 11 at the Trident Lakes Golf Club House, 1010 USS Proteus Blvd, with pickup hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Awards are presented for both distances. Overall awards include the top three men and women and the top male and female masters finisher. Age-group awards are given for male and female competitors in the following categories: 19 & Under; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70+.
Parking is organized in designated areas that will be marked with wind feather signage and h-frames. A course map is provided by the organizer. Registration is limited by available spots. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
