Event Overview
Strut Your Kidney is a hybrid athletic event held in Portland, Oregon, designed to support children living with chronic kidney disease. Organized to benefit Northwest Kidney Kids, the event serves as a community gathering to provide financial support and raise awareness for families affected by pediatric kidney conditions in the Northwest region. Participants can choose between several in-person routes or a virtual option.
The in-person event takes place at SE Spokane Street and Oaks Parkway. The course options accommodate runners, walkers, and those using mobility devices. Available distances include:
- 10K Run/Walk/Roll
- 5K Run/Walk/Roll
- 1 Mile Family Fun Walk/Run/Roll
Registered participants for the physical event receive a special edition event shirt, a race bib, and a finisher certificate. Those who register after September 1st are not guaranteed specific merchandise availability. Timing services for the event are provided by Eclectic Edge Racing.
A virtual participation option is also available for those who prefer to complete their distance independently. Virtual participants receive a digital race bib and a finisher certificate. These participants can submit their times and photos to be included on the event leaderboard.
