Stroud Beer Race
Stroud Beer Race is a road race of approximately 7.2 miles run over an undulating three lap course that starts at The Old Lodge, Minchinhampton, GL6 9AQ. The event is part of the Glos AAA Road Race Series and is organised by Stroud AC. New for 2026, all finishers will receive a metal souvenir medal. The event holds UKA Licence #30698 and the published entry fee is £22.
Prizes are awarded to individuals and teams. Individual prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places are vouchers of £50, £30 and £20 for both male and female categories. Team prizes for the first three placed teams (three runners per team) are vouchers of £90, £60 and £30. Veteran age categories start at V40 and progress in five year bands with a listed category prize of £10.
There is a strict race cut off of two hours; the course will close and no finish times will be issued after this time. Toilets are available at the start and finish area. There are no changing rooms, showers or managed bag drop facilities. Ticket presale is available first to Stroud & District AC members for 24 hours before the general release, which is scheduled for February 27 at 12:00.
