Stroud Beer Race
The Stroud Beer Race is a road race over a distance of approximately 7.2 miles. The course is undulating and consists of three laps, starting at the Old Lodge Inn in Minchinhampton. The event is part of the Glos AAA Road Race Series and holds a UKA licence (applied for).
All finishers in the 2026 edition will receive a new metal souvenir medal.
Prizes in the form of vouchers for Bateman Sports are awarded. Individual prizes go to the top three male and female runners. Team prizes (for teams of three runners) and age category prizes (for V40 and older) are also awarded. There is a strict race cut-off time of two hours, after which the course closes and no finish times are issued.
Toilets are available in the start and finish area. There are no changing rooms, showers, or managed bag drop facilities. The race is open to entrants aged 16 and over on the day of the event.
Entry is subject to a release schedule. Ticket presale for club members begins 24 hours before the general release. General entry opens at a specified date and time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
