Stroud Beer Race
The Stroud Beer Race is a road race of approximately 7.2 miles, run over an undulating, three lap course that starts at The Old Lodge in Minchinhampton. The event is part of the Glos AAA Road Race Series and is organised by Stroud AC.
All finishers in 2026 will receive a metal souvenir medal. The race holds UKA licence number 30698 and uses a three lap routing that is suitable for road running.
Prizes are awarded as vouchers for Bateman Sports. Individual prizes are given to the first, second and third placed male and female finishers with values of £50, £30 and £20 respectively. Team prizes are awarded to the first three placed teams of three runners with values of £90, £60 and £30. There is a veteran category for age 40 and upwards with additional age brackets and a prize value of £10 for each veteran category listed.
There is a strict two hour time limit; the course will close at that point and no finish times will be issued after the cut off. Toilets are available at the start and finish area; there are no changing rooms, showers or managed bag drop facilities on site.
Entry is priced at £22. Ticket presale is available to Stroud & District AC members 24 hours before general release. The race route is available on Strava. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
