Stroud Beer Race
The Stroud Beer Race is a road race organised by Stroud AC at The Old Lodge, Minchinhampton GL6 9AQ. The course covers approximately 7.2 miles over an undulating three lap route and forms part of the Glos AAA Road Race Series. A route is available on Strava.
All finishers will receive a new metal souvenir medal. Prizes in vouchers for Bateman Sports are awarded to first, second and third placed male and female individuals and to the first three placed teams of five runners. There are veteran age categories from age 40 upwards, with separate veteran prizes.
There is a strict race cut off of two hours. The course will close after this period and no finish times will be issued for late finishers. Toilets are available at the start and finish area. There are no changing rooms, showers, or managed bag drop facilities. Parking is available on the approach to The Old Lodge.
The event has applied for a UK Athletics licence. Entry is open to people aged 16 and over on the event date. Entry fees are listed between £20 and £22. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
