Stronger Together: Run for a Change 5k
The Stronger Together: Run for a Change 5k is an annual running event held at Mulberry Rock Park in Dallas, Georgia. Established to show support for domestic violence victims, the event takes place during domestic violence awareness month. Proceeds from the race benefit local organizations Share House and Shepherd's Rest Ministries.
Participants compete on a 5 km course. Registered runners receive several items as part of their entry, including a custom event t-shirt, a swag bag containing items from local vendors and sponsors, and a custom finisher medal.
The event features a structured awards program. Custom awards are presented to the first place overall male and female winners. Additionally, placement medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers across a wide variety of age categories, ranging from 10 and under to 70 and over.
The schedule includes an early race bib pickup the day before the event. On the morning of the race, there is a pre-race stretch followed by the run and a concluding awards ceremony.
