Stromlo Running Festival is a two-day trail running event held at Stromlo Forest Park in Canberra. The festival offers a range of distances for adults and a dedicated kids course. The event is ITRA/UTMB indexed and listed as family friendly. It is supported by the ACT Government and run with volunteer assistance.
Distances offered include:
- Marathon (42.2 km)
- 30 km
- 15 km
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 2.5 km kids run
Race bibs are pick up only and may be collected in several ways, including pre-event retail collection at the Canberra and Region Visitor Information Centre, collection at the Stromlo Forest Park Event Hub on the event eve, and collection on event day prior to a participant’s race. Bibs can be collected on behalf of another person.
The University of Canberra Recovery Hub will provide post-run support led by physiotherapy students under supervision. There will be no prize presentations on the day. Participants must run in their registered start time; changes are not accepted during race weekend and starting outside the allocated wave affects eligibility for awards and official result status.
The festival notes a recent ownership transition to Race Hub Australia while maintaining its original values and community focus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
