About the race
The Stromlo Running Festival is an annual trail running festival held at Stromlo Forest Park in Canberra. The 17th edition is scheduled for 14–15 November 2026 and features multiple trail distances and a separate kids course.
The event offers the following race distances:
- 42.2 km marathon
- 30 km
- 15 km
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 2.5 km kids run
Entries and event administration are managed via Race Roster. Race bibs are pick up only and can be collected at designated pre-event locations, at an event eve collection, or at the event hub on race weekend; bibs may be collected on behalf of another entrant. The festival is presented at a purpose-built running and cycling venue and lists partner organisations including the University of Canberra, Fractel, Race Hub Australia, the ACT Government, Hammer Nutrition and the Indigenous Marathon Foundation. The University of Canberra returns with a recovery hub providing supervised post-run support. Information on parking notes 487 paid spaces at the venue and a free short-term drop off zone.
