Capital to Coast - Canberra to South Coast
Capital to Coast returns for the weekend of 28 to 30 August 2026. The event is organised by a group of trail runners as part of Canberra Runners and provides contact options for ideas and questions.
The route is made up of nine stages running from Canberra to the south coast. The course combines trails, fire trails and singletrack. Stage descriptions published for 2025 are available and are not expected to change significantly for 2026.
The event depends strongly on volunteers, with a range of volunteering roles described across the stages. Organisers provide participant information through an email newsletter and maintain an archive of past newsletters.
An Event Guide will be issued closer to the date; participants are advised to print or save the guide to their phone.
