The Canberra Times Fun Run
The Canberra Times Fun Run takes place on 1 November 2026 in Rond Terrace, Parkes, Canberra ACT. Four race distances are offered:
- 21.1 km Runner's World Half Marathon (AIMS-certified)
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 2 km Kids Dash
The course is described as fast and flat and runs past the Old and New Parliament Houses. On-course services include an event day app, live runner tracking, drink stations, electrolytes at the finish, electronic timing and results, finisher medals for all participants, pacers in the Half Marathon and 10K, and spectator celebration zones.
The event village provides Sole Motive retail and exclusive Canberra Times Fun Run merchandise, live entertainment, food and coffee stalls, a PB Bell, a cheer sign making station, a massage and recovery zone, and partner offers. A complimentary shuttle bus operates from the finish line to the 5 km start area.
Sole Motive supports participant fundraising for charities. Courses are AIMS-certified and the event offers electronic timing and race services intended to support runners, walkers and families taking part. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
