Strokes, Spokes and Strides - Waynesboro, PA
Strokes, Spokes and Strides is a sprint distance multisport event taking place in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania on June 13, 2026. The triathlon uses the Waynesboro YMCA for its start, swim, transition area and finish. The swim is held in the Y’s six lane, 25 meter pool. Bike and run routes pass through tree lined neighborhoods and farmland around Waynesboro.
The triathlon can be completed individually or as part of a three person relay team. Two additional race day events are offered: Aquavelo, which consists of swim and bike, and Duathlon, which follows a run, bike, run format. Aquavelo and Duathlon are open to participants age 12 and older. The event includes Clydesdale and Athena classifications.
Course distances and legs
- Swim 300 meters
- Run leg one approximately 1.5 miles
- Bike approximately 13 miles
- Run final leg approximately 3.1 miles
Registrants receive a short sleeve race shirt, finisher medal, race bib and swag bag. Awards are presented for overall male and female finishers, masters categories, age groups, Athena and Clydesdale, and relay team divisions; Duathlon and Aquabike have overall male and female awards.
