Strides for SOS 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk
Strides for SOS is a community running event at Beverly Park in Beverly Hills, Michigan, offering a 5K and a 1 Mile run or walk. Registration runs from March 2, 2026 through September 27, 2026 and the entry fee is $30.

Packet pick up is available the day before the event at The Bev, 31221 Southfield Rd., with morning and afternoon sessions. Race day packet pick up and in-person registration take place at the Beverly Park Pavilion; check, cash, and Venmo are accepted. The first 100 people to pick up their packet receive a complimentary Strides for SOS aluminum water bottle.
T-shirt details note a cutoff for guaranteed shirts: registrations completed by September 12 will be guaranteed a t-shirt; registrations after September 13 may not include a shirt. T-shirts must be collected in person and will not be mailed.
Parking is generally available at Beverly Park with overflow parking at Beverly Elementary School on Beverly Road if the lot fills. Awards include overall male and female honors for the 5K with a Hanson’s gift card, age group awards for the 5K, category awards for the 1 Mile by age, and top student awards for each BPS school. A novelty banana entrant will run the 1 Mile and participants have a chance to race the banana for a prize. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
