Stride to SAVE Lives 5k/10k : Lake Harriet, Minneapolis
Stride to SAVE Lives is an annual walk/run hosted by Suicide Awareness Voices of Education (SAVE) around Lake Harriet in Minneapolis on August 1, 2026. The event offers two course distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
Registration for both distances is free for 2026, supported by presenting sponsors TitleSmart and Executive Title. The first 500 registrants will receive a complimentary T-shirt. Participants may make donations during registration; funds raised for SAVE will be doubled by the Tosa Foundation.
Routes wind around Lake Harriet and provide space for reflection and remembrance. A memorial tent will be available where attendees can share photos and written memories of loved ones lost to suicide. Items for the memorial display should be copies that do not need to be returned. Art supplies will be provided at the event for creating messages or pictures.
Proceeds and donations support SAVE programs including training, education, advocacy, and support for suicide loss survivors.
