Event overview
The 6th Annual Stride for Pride takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail on Olive Street in Scranton, PA 18508. The event is organized by Queer NEPA in partnership with Action Together NEPA. The race uses the trailhead and nearby pavilion; these areas are pet-friendly but pets must be leashed and are requested not to be on the course during the event. Parking is encouraged across the street near Scranton Running Co.

The listed price for the 5K Run is $35, with a price increase after April 26, 2026. The Virtual 5K is listed at $35; virtual registration ends June 6, 2026. Virtual participants may submit results to Scranton Running Company for scoring; results will be posted the following Monday. Children under 10 may participate for free when accompanied by a registered adult or guardian; free entry does not include event shirts and participation medals are subject to available supplies. Event shirts are guaranteed for runners registered by May 17; late registrants receive shirts while supplies last. Awards are given in Male, Female, and Non-Binary categories and then subdivided by age groups: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
