Event
The 6th Annual Stride for Pride is scheduled for Sunday, June 7, 2026. The event includes an in-person 5K and a Virtual 5K option. It is presented in partnership with Action Together NEPA and organized by Queer NEPA.

The in-person course uses the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail at Olive Street in Scranton, PA 18508. The trailhead and pavilion are pet-friendly; pets must be leashed and organizers request that pets not be on the course during the event. Participants are encouraged to use parking across the street near Scranton Running Company.
Children under 10 may participate for free when accompanied by a registered adult or guardian; free entry does not include event shirts, and participation medals are subject to available supplies. Event shirts are guaranteed for runners registered by 5/17; registrations after that date receive shirts while supplies last. Awards are given in Male, Female, and Non-Binary categories and are subdivided by age groups: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
