About the race
Strayhaven Animal Shelter holds its 6th Annual Run for the Paws 5K Run and Walk on October 10, 2026 at Riverside Park, 45 Alan Ave, Greenville, PA. The event takes place along the Shenango River Trail and includes on-site parking at Riverside Park.

Registration includes a t-shirt, race bib, and post-race snacks. Registered participants may collect event shirts and bibs at Strayhaven Animal Shelter at 94 Donation Road in Greenville on October 9 or on the day of the event at the Rotary Pavilion in Riverside Park.
The event is a fundraising run and walk organized by Strayhaven Animal Shelter. The shelter provides veterinary care, food, and shelter for homeless and abused animals of Mercer Country and operates primarily on donations. Volunteer support is requested for the event.
