Stray Cat Scurry
Stray Cat Scurry is scheduled for November 1, 2026 at the Boat House area, 1500 Pattinson Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19145. The event supports cats in a local rescue and ongoing efforts for stray cats in South Philly.
The event is offered in two formats: an in-person walkathon and a virtual walkathon. Both listings indicate a distance of 4 miles. Registration for the in-person event opens May 1, 2026 and closes October 17, 2026. Registration for the virtual event opens May 1, 2026 and closes October 10, 2026. The registration fee is $40.
The registration package includes an official T-shirt, a walkathon bib, and an additional surprise item. For in-person participants, race day boxes are available for pickup at the on-site registration desk the morning of the event. Virtual participants receive their race day packages by shipment.
The event area will feature vendor tables and food options such as water ice and pretzels, with music from the 1980s during post-walk activities. Participants may create fundraisers to collect pledges; a participant who raises $150 will receive a refund of the $40 registration fee. During checkout participants can dedicate their walk to a specific cat, and the cat with the most sponsors will be announced on the day of the event.
