Event Overview
The Strawberry Sprint and Stroll 5K & Fun Run is an annual athletic event held in historic downtown Fort Mill, South Carolina. As an official part of the South Carolina Strawberry Festival, the race enters its sixth year in 2026. The event serves as a kickoff for the festival's schedule of activities and supports the Fort Mill Economic Partners and the Carolina Thread Trail.
The course features the following distances:

- 1 Mile Fun Run
The route begins and ends on Main Street, taking participants through local residential neighborhoods characterized by rolling hills and historic architecture. Rolling terrain is present throughout the course. For safety, Main Street is closed to vehicle traffic for the duration of the event, and police support is positioned at busy intersections.
Amenities and Festivities
A Runner's Village is established at the conclusion of the races. This area features local merchants, food trucks, a kids' zone, and live music. The South Carolina Strawberry Festival mascot and the reigning Strawberry Queens are typically present for the festivities.
Registered participants can pick up their race packets at the Charlotte Running Co. Riverwalk on the day before the event. Registration is possible on the day of the race, though t-shirt availability is not guaranteed for late registrations. Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as to winners in the top three positions across multiple age categories ranging from 14 and under to 70 and over.
