Event Overview
The Strawberry Sprint and Stroll is an event featuring a 5K and a one-mile Fun Run. It is the official event of the South Carolina Strawberry Festival and marks its sixth year. The event takes place in the historic downtown corridor of Fort Mill, South Carolina.
Course and Schedule
The course begins and ends on Main Street in Fort Mill and travels along nearby residential streets, offering scenic views. The event includes a Runner's Village after the race with local merchants, food trucks, a kids' zone, and music. The mascot Berry B. Good and the Strawberry Queens are typically part of the festivities.
Awards
Awards are given for the 5K to the Top Male and Top Female overall winners, as well as to the top male and female finisher in each age group. The age groups are: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. An award ceremony is held.
Registration and Packet Pickup
Packet pickup occurs the day before the event at Charlotte Running Co. Riverwalk. Race-day registration is available, but t-shirts are not guaranteed after a specific date. Registration is required for all participants and is non-refundable.
