Strawberry Classic 5k/10k and Shortcake Run
The Strawberry Classic runs as part of the 2026 Strawberry Festival in Troy, Ohio. The event takes place at City Park, 200 Adams St., and uses paved trails along the river and around Duke Park. It is scheduled for the Saturday morning of the festival.
Distances offered include:
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- Shortcake 1K (1 kilometer)
Entry fees are stated per event: the 5K and 10K entries are $35 each and include a tech shirt while supplies last; the 1K Shortcake run entry is $10. No processing fees or taxes are added to the listed entry fees.
Finishers and awards are specified by distance. All 5K and 10K participants receive a custom finisher medal; all 1K participants receive a ribbon. Runners receive a strawberry donut after the race. Prize money for the 10K is awarded to male and female top finishers as follows: first $100, second $50, third $25. Prize money for the 5K is awarded to male and female top finishers as follows: first $50, second $25.
