Event Details
The Strawberry Classic takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, as part of the Strawberry Festival at a new location: Duke Park in Troy, Ohio. The event features three races:
- 10k Run
- 5k Run
- Strawberry Shortcake Fun Run (1k)
The 10k and 5k events have an entry fee of $35, which includes a tech shirt while supplies last. The 1k fun run has an entry fee of $10.
Course & Perks
All races start at Duke Park and are run on paved trails along the river and around the park. After finishing, participants receive a strawberry donut. All 5k and 10k runners receive a custom finisher's medal. All 1k fun run participants earn a ribbon.
Prize Money
The event offers prize money for top finishers in the 5k and 10k races, awarded to male and female categories.
- 10k Prize Money: 1st Place - $100, 2nd Place - $50, 3rd Place - $25.
- 5k Prize Money: 1st Place - $50, 2nd Place - $25.
Additional Information
Early packet pickup is available on Friday, June 5, at Up and Running Troy from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The organizer states there are no processing fees or taxes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
