The Strathaven Striders 'Run With the Wind' Half Marathon is a scenic running event set to take place on a circular route near Whitelee Wind Farm. The course features quiet, undulating roads, reaching its highest point at the halfway mark. The race headquarters will be located at the Barrie Shelter in Strathaven Park, providing facilities for registration, changing, and post-event refreshments.

The event is officially measured and adheres to UK Athletics rules. Note that the 2024 edition has been cancelled and is not accepting entries.
