Strange Roots 5k Beer Run - 2026 PA Brewery Running Series
This event is a casual, untimed 5k fun run held at Strange Roots Experimental Ales in Millvale (Pittsburgh) on August 22, 2026. The course is described as a 5K-ish route that starts and ends at the taproom and follows a scenic route through the surrounding area and a nearby trail. The event takes place on public roads and participants are responsible for obeying traffic laws and being aware of their surroundings.
The format welcomes walkers, joggers, and runners. Included with entry is one free craft beverage from Strange Roots, and participants may choose a collector's pint glass or a Brewery Running Series swag item. The event features live music, a door prize raffle, and a portion of proceeds is donated to 412 FOOD RESCUE. ID is required for alcohol; underage participants receive a token for a nonalcoholic beverage. Registration is limited to the size of the taproom. The event is scheduled to run rain or shine.
