Stowmarket Half Marathon & 10K : 15 March 2026, Stowupland, Suffolk
The Stowmarket Striders event takes place on 15 March 2026 with race headquarters at Stowupland High School, Church Road, Stowupland, Stowmarket, IP14 4BQ. Distances on offer are:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K
The races are chip timed and held under UKA rules. Course accuracy certificates are provided: Half Marathon certificate 24/011 and 10K certificate 25/490. The route runs on a mixture of B class roads and quiet single-track country lanes through undulating rural countryside. Roads are not closed to traffic except at the start area, so runners must keep left unless directed otherwise and take personal care at junctions.
Entry, facilities and race procedures
Entry fees are listed online, with an affiliated-runner discount of £2. Online and on-the-day fees differ by distance. All finishers receive a memento. Prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers and to multiple veteran age categories for men and women.
Parking is available at the high school. Race headquarters provides refreshments, bag drop and toilets but no changing facilities. Regular water stations are provided on the course. First aid medics will be present. The course closes three hours after the race start. Use of audio headphones while competing is prohibited.
