Event overview
The Stowmarket Striders Half Marathon and 10K takes place on 15 March 2026 in Stowupland, near Stowmarket, Suffolk. The event is chip timed and held under UKA rules; UKA licence is listed as to be confirmed. Course accuracy certificates are provided: Half Marathon certificate 24/011 and 10K certificate 25/490.

Race details
Both races use rural B class roads and quiet single-track country lanes through undulating countryside. Roads are not closed to traffic except at the start area; runners must keep to the left unless directed otherwise and must take responsibility at junctions. The half marathon course closes three hours after the start. Use of any audio headphones, including bone-conduction types, is prohibited and may lead to disqualification. First aid medics will be present and there will be regular water stops along the route. A copy of the risk assessment will be available on the race notice board.
Entry, prizes and facilities
Online entry fees: half marathon £27, 10K £18; on-the-day fees are higher. A £2 discount applies for affiliated runners. Entries are non-refundable, but places may be transferred to another runner. All finishers receive a memento. Prizes are awarded to 1st–3rd male and female finishers and in specified veteran age categories.
