The Stowmarket Half Marathon takes place on 15 March 2026 in Stowupland, north of Stowmarket, Suffolk. Race headquarters, start and finish are at Stowupland High School, Church Road, Stowupland, IP14 4BQ. The event is chip timed and held under UKA rules. Race details
The route uses B class roads and quiet, single-track country lanes through undulating rural countryside. Except for the start area, roads remain open to traffic; runners must keep to the left unless directed by a race official and should take responsibility at junctions. Use of audio headphones, including bone-conducting devices, is prohibited and may lead to disqualification. First aid medics will be present and there will be regular water stops.
Race headquarters provides parking, refreshments, a bag drop and toilets, but no changing facilities. The half marathon course has a three-hour cutoff from the start. Entries are available online with fees listed for the half marathon and 10K, and a small affiliated runner discount is applied; on-the-day entry may be accepted if places remain.
