Stowmarket 5K Colour Run
The Stowmarket 5K Colour Run is a fundraising event on 22 August 2026 at Stowmarket Town Football Club, Greens Meadow. Proceeds support the Stowmarket Town Football Club Youth Section.
The event features a 5K family-friendly route with multiple colour zones that use bright, non-toxic powder. The course combines grass and dirt trails with a short section alongside a busy road. The route includes a stile, so it is not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
A finish area at the football club provides a barbecue and drinks. Organisers advise wearing appropriate clothing and footwear for multi-terrain conditions and note that clothes and trainers may be permanently stained. Goggles are recommended for eye protection. All participants enter at their own risk and organisers are not responsible for injury or loss. By entering, participants agree to be photographed for promotional purposes.
