Stouffville Main Street 5K
The Stouffville Main Street 5K takes place on June 20, 2027 at Stouffville Memorial Park in Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario. The event benefits the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation and includes a main 5K and a Kids 1K Dash.
Participants are assigned start waves based on anticipated 5K completion time. The colour-coded groups and time ranges are: Red less than 25:00, Yellow 25:01 to 30:00, Blue 30:01 to 35:00, Green 35:01 to 45:00, Purple 45:01 and above. Walkers and stroller users are asked to position themselves towards the back of their wave. Timing for each participant is activated when they cross the start/finish line.
Event rules note that bicycles, rollerblades and scooters are not permitted on the course. Leashed dogs are allowed in the runner's village only and are not permitted on the course. All participants must wear a registered number bib.
Fundraising is encouraged but not required. The suggested minimums are CA$100 per adult and CA$50 per child. Donations over CA$20 receive a charitable tax receipt. Individuals who raise more than CA$250 are entered in a draw.
There are no refunds after registration; registrants may convert their fee into a donation to the foundation or transfer their registration to another person for a processing fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
