Event details
The Stouffville Main Street 5K takes place at Stouffville Memorial Park in Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario on June 21, 2026. The event is the fourth annual edition and benefits the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation. All participants must wear a registered number bib. Participants who wish to enter both races must register for each event separately.

Race format and rules
The 5K uses a wave start system based on each participant’s anticipated completion time; registration asks entrants to select a time band and waves are color coded for those bands. Runners with strollers are asked to line up at the back of their selected wave. Walkers are directed to the slowest wave. Bicycles, rollerblades, and scooters are not permitted on the course. Leashed dogs are allowed in the runner’s village only and are not permitted on the course.
Registration, fundraising and policies
Registration fees vary by registration period and include processing fees but do not include taxes. Fundraising is encouraged but not mandatory; suggested fundraising minimums are $100 per adult and $50 per child. Donations over $20 receive a charitable tax receipt from the foundation; individuals who raise over $250 are entered in a prize draw. There are no refunds; registrants may convert their fee to a donation to the foundation with a tax receipt. Transfers to another individual are possible and require the receiving person’s profile information and a processing fee. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
