Stouffville Main Street 5K : event description
The event takes place on June 20, 2027 at Stouffville Memorial Park, Park Drive, Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario. It includes a Main Street 5K and a Kids 1K Dash.

- 5 km Main Street 5K
- 1 km Kids 1K Dash, recommended for youth 12 and under
The 5K uses wave starts. During registration participants select a start group based on anticipated 5K completion time. Color groups indicate expected finish ranges: Red under 25:00, Yellow 25:01 to 30:00, Blue 30:01 to 35:00, Green 35:01 to 45:00, Purple 45:01 and over. Strollers are asked to line up at the back of their chosen wave; walkers are asked to use the Purple wave. Timing is activated when each participant crosses the start/finish line.
Bicycles, rollerblades and scooters are not permitted on the course. Leashed dogs are welcome in the runner's village only and are not allowed on the course.
The event benefits the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation. Fundraising is encouraged with suggested minimums of CA$100 per adult and CA$50 per child. Donations over CA$20 receive a charitable tax receipt. Individuals who raise more than CA$250 are entered in a prize draw. No refunds are offered after registration; registration fees can be converted to a donation with a tax receipt.
