About the race
Stouffville Main Street 5K is a community road event at Stouffville Memorial Park in Whitchurch‑Stouffville, Ontario, taking place on June 20, 2027. The event benefits the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation and includes a main 5K and a Kids 1K Dash.

The Main Street 5K starts in waves based on anticipated 5K completion time. Start groups are colour coded with expected finish bands such as Red (under 25:00), Yellow (25:01–30:00), Blue (30:01–35:00), Green (35:01–45:00) and Purple (45:01+). All runners with strollers are asked to line up at the back of their selected wave and walkers are asked to select the Purple wave. Leashed dogs are allowed in the runner's village only and are not permitted on the course. Bicycles, rollerblades and scooters are not allowed on the course.
Fundraising is encouraged but not mandatory. Suggested fundraising minimums are CA$100 for adults and CA$50 for children. Donations over CA$20 receive a charitable tax receipt from the Foundation. Individuals who raise over CA$250 are entered in a prize draw.
Registration details note that each participant must wear a registered number bib and that separate registration is required to enter both the 5K and the Kids 1K Dash. There is no refund after registration, but fees can be converted to a donation to the Foundation. Registration fees vary by period and published examples range from about CA$51.26 to CA$73.05 for the 5K and from about CA$24.03 to CA$40.37 for the Kids 1K Dash.
