Event overview
The Stouffville Main Street 5K is scheduled for Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Stouffville Memorial Park, Park Drive, Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario. The event is the 4th annual edition and benefits the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation. The program includes a main 5K race and a Kids 1K Dash recommended for youth 12 and under but open to all ages. Registration is noted to close on June 14, 2026.

The Main Street 5K uses a wave start system. Waves are grouped by anticipated 5K completion time: Red (less than 25 minutes), Yellow (25-30 minutes), Blue (30-35 minutes), Green (35-45 minutes), and Purple (45+ minutes). Runners with strollers are asked to start at the back of their selected wave. Walkers are asked to use the Purple wave. Bicycles, rollerblades and scooters are not allowed on the course. Leashed dogs are permitted only in the runner's village and are not permitted on the course.
Fundraising is encouraged but not mandatory. Suggested minimums are $100 per adult and $50 per child. Donations over $20 receive a charitable tax receipt. Participants who raise over $250 will be entered in a prize draw. There are no refunds; registration fees can be converted to a donation to the hospital foundation with a tax receipt, and bib transfers to another individual are possible for a processing fee.
