Stort10 - 10 and 5 mile trail race
Stort10 is a trail running event held at Cammas Hall Farm in the Essex countryside on Sunday 16 May 2027. The event offers two measured distances and provides race-day facilities at the farm, including a café, bar, farm shop and a playground.
- 10 mile: two loops of slightly different lengths
- 5 mile: single loop
Both races start together and are chip timed. The course mixes farm tracks, field edges, woodland paths and short sections of quiet country road, and it stays largely flat. Some tracks can be rutted or uneven and sections may become muddy after rain. Marshals will be positioned throughout the route. Water stations are located at 3 miles, 5 miles and the finish for both races, with an extra water stop at 8 miles for 10 mile runners. Parts of the route cross private land and must not be recceed before race day.
There is free parking near the start and finish, a baggage tent at race headquarters and plenty of toilets including accessible toilets. Wheelchair access is possible around many areas of the farm, but the race course is not suitable for wheelchair users. Trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each race and a mixed club prize is also presented. Entrants must be at least 16 years old. Entry includes a premium technical finisher t shirt and a medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
