Stort10 '26 - Cammas Hall Farm
Stort10 '26 is a trail running event offering 10 mile and 5 mile races at Cammas Hall Farm in Essex on Sunday 17 May 2026. The event is in its 43rd year and uses shared start and finish areas.
Distances:
- 10 mile trail: two slightly unequal loops
- 5 mile trail: one loop
Both races start from the same location. The 10 mile route comprises two loops and the 5 mile route is a single loop. Marshals will be positioned on the course. Water stations are provided at the 3, 5 and 8 mile points and at the finish. The terrain includes farm tracks, footpaths, woodland trails and very short sections of road, with no major inclines. Parts of the route cross private land; participants are asked not to train on those sections before race day.
There are four short sections on quiet country roads that remain open to traffic; these sections will be marshalled. The route also crosses a farmyard and runners should follow the marked course for safety.
Cammas Hall Farm offers a café, farm shop and playground. Parking is available near the start/finish by the tea barn and a baggage tent will be provided at Race HQ. Dogs are not permitted to run but may spectate on leads in the finish area.
Entry prices are £25 for the first 200 entrants then £28 thereafter; a £2 discount applies to England Athletics affiliated runners. Entry includes premium merchandise and a medal with total costs kept under £30. Entries may be transferred to another runner before the transfer deadline through the entry portal; a small number of transfers may be possible on the day. Refunds and deferrals are not offered at present.
Trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each race and a mixed club prize is awarded based on the top three team members. Bone conducting headphones are permitted; other personal audio equipment is prohibited. Volunteer roles are available for race and non-race tasks.
