Event overview

Stort10 '26 is a running event on Sunday 17 May 2026 at Cammas Hall Farm, Hatfield Broad Oak, CM22 7JT. It is the 43rd edition and offers two distances:

  • 10 miles
  • 5 miles

Both races start in the same place. Electronic timing and online live results are provided. Finishers receive a medal and a premium finisher T-shirt (long or short sleeve) or a tree planted in their name.

Course and safety

The 10-mile course consists of two slightly unequal loops; the 5-mile course is one loop. The route uses farm tracks, footpaths, woodland trails and very short sections of road, with no major inclines. There are obstacles such as rabbit holes, roots and rocks. There are four short road sections that remain open to traffic and will be marshalled. The route crosses a farmyard and parts of the course are on private land. Water stations are located at about miles 3, 5 and 8 and at the finish. Medical cover, signposted mile markers and marshals are provided.

Logistics, rules and entries

There is parking near the start/finish area and a baggage tent at Race HQ. Toilets are available at Race HQ. Dogs are not allowed to run but dogs on leads may be in the finish area. Bone-conduction headphones are permitted; other personal audio equipment is prohibited during the race. Entries: first 200 entrants pay £25, then £28 until race day or until entries sell out; affiliated runners receive a £2 discount. Transfers to another runner are allowed before the entry transfer deadline; refunds and deferrals are not offered. Prizes include trophies for the top three male and female finishers in each distance and mixed team prizes based on the top three scoring team members.
