Storm The Castle Duathlon - Ludlow, 17 May 2026
The Storm The Castle Duathlon is a multi-stage duathlon held at Ludlow Castle. For 2026 the event will be based entirely within the castle grounds, with every stage starting and finishing inside the medieval castle walls and surrounding grounds.
The event offers multiple course formats and a junior event. Distances for the main courses are approximately:
- Full Course: approx. 10 km run, 33 km bike, 5 km run.
- Sprint Course: approx. 5 km run, 23 km bike, 2.5 km run.
- Junior Storm: Radnor Rascal 1 km fun run for children.
Age and entry rules are specified for each course. The Full and Sprint courses require participants to be 16 years or older. Junior Storm participants are required to be 13 years and under; children aged 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Relay entries are available for the Full and Sprint courses.
Entry periods, fees, and membership requirements are published for the event. Entries open 1 September 2025 and close 15 May 2026. Participants must hold a British Triathlon race licence either via an annual membership or a single-use Race Pass.
