Storm The Castle Duathlon takes place on Sunday 17 May 2026 at Ludlow Castle, Castle Square, Ludlow, Shropshire SY8 1AY. For 2026 the event is based entirely within the castle grounds; each stage starts and finishes within the castle walls and surrounding grounds. The event offers multiple course options including a junior fun run.

Race formats and eligibility

Full Storm: approx. 10 km run, 33 km bike, 5 km run.
Sprint Storm: approx. 5 km run, 23 km bike, 2.5 km run.
Junior Storm (Radnor Rascal): 1 km fun run; junior entrants must be 13 years and under. Children aged 10 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Full and Sprint courses are for participants aged 16 years or older.

Entries and fees

Entries open 1 September 2025 and close 15 May 2026. Entry fees are: Full Course £65.00, Sprint Course £45.00, Junior Storm £7.00, Relay Full Course £90.00 per team, Relay Sprint Course £55.00 per team. Participants must hold British Triathlon membership or purchase a single-use race pass to take part. Entries are processed through the event entry system.
