Storm the Bastille 5K - 40th Anniversary
Storm the Bastille 5K is presented and produced by the East Town Association on July 9, 2026, in downtown Milwaukee. The course runs through the East Town and Third Ward neighborhoods; the route is not officially certified but is close in distance. Walkers may end at a designated halfway point that is to be announced.
Registration opens March 20, 2026 and closes March 31, 2026. The registration fee is $35.00. Registered participants receive a special edition Storm the Bastille 40th Anniversary t-shirt, a timed bib, and a post-race option of a Michelob Ultra, bottled water, or a vintage Storm the Bastille t-shirt.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Tuesday, July 7 with the location to be announced. Race day packet pickup will be under the white tent in the northeast corner of Cathedral Square Park; pickup closes before the race and participants should have the QR code from their registration confirmation ready.
The start line is on Jefferson Street heading south, with the finish at the same location. Multiple water locations will be provided; specifics are to be announced. Post-race beverage coupons are attached to race bibs and may be redeemed for a Michelob Ultra or bottled water at designated bar locations. Public transit access includes The Hop; several nearby parking garages are listed for drivers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
