Stop the Silence 5K Walk/Run : 16th Annual

The Sisters Network Inc. 16th Annual Stop the Silence 5K Walk/Run takes place on April 18, 2026, at Tom Bass Regional Park Section I in Houston, Texas. The event is a national African American breast cancer walk and run hosted by Sisters Network Inc. and is held in April to highlight National Minority Health Awareness month.

More than 4,000 participants have attended this event in past years to honor and celebrate Black women diagnosed with breast cancer. The walk/run offers multiple entry options, including a 5K Individual Walk/Run, a Team Walk/Run pre-pay option, and a Kids Walk/Run. Listed entry prices include USD 35 for the 5K Individual, USD 350 for the Team pre-pay option, and USD 20 for the Kids Walk/Run.

A portion of funds raised supports the Sisters Network Inc. Karen E. Jackson Breast Cancer Assistance Program BCAP. The BCAP program helps pay for 3D mammograms for uninsured women and provides financial assistance to breast cancer survivors who are currently in treatment.
