Stonehaven Half Marathon - 05 Jul 2026
The Stonehaven Half Marathon takes place at the McRobert Pavilion, Mineralwell Park, Stonehaven. Registration is at the McRobert Pavilion on race day between 8:30 and 9:45, where runners collect their race number and timing chip. Entry is by online registration only and closes at midnight on Friday 3rd July 2026. Numbers may be transferred to another runner until close of business on Wednesday 1st July 2026. Total places are listed as 357 and no refunds are given unless the race is cancelled.
The race is a Scottish Athletics approved event and is run on local roads and forest tracks. The course is described as hilly and undulating, it is not a closed road race, and there are four water stops. Parts of the route remain open to traffic so runners must stay aware of other road users and follow marshal instructions. The use of headphones is not permitted. Runners must be over 17 years old on race day. The course is unsuitable for wheelchairs and running with buggies or pets is not allowed.
Limited changing facilities and showers are available at the McRobert Pavilion and refreshments will be provided after the race. Prizes will be presented in or by the McRobert Pavilion soon after the race finishes. The event supports Archie at the Neo Natal Unit and there is an option to donate during sign up.
