FundRacers - Runnin' for a Reason
This community race in Lilburn, Georgia benefits Sepsis Alliance and sends all race proceeds to that organization in memory of a young person who died at age 23 from sepsis. The organization was founded in 2007 to raise awareness, save limbs and save lives.
The event is hosted at Lilburn City Park, 76 Main Street NW, and the course follows the Lilburn Greenway. The greenway route is described as fairly flat and fast.

Registration fees vary by date and option. Early bird registration is $27 on or before July 25th, $30 from July 25th to September 1st, and $33 after September 1st. The fun run fee is $18 and the virtual run fee is $30. A family discount rate of $92 applies automatically when four people are registered for the same event; the discount covers only the first four registrants and further registrations are charged at the regular price. The organizer notes that discounts can reduce the amount raised for the beneficiary.
Awards include trophies for top overall male and female, masters and grand masters, and medals for the top three in male and female age groups in five year increments from 10 and under through 75 and up.
