Event Overview
The Stomp Out Human Trafficking event takes place on Saturday, March 21, 2026. It is a fundraiser where all proceeds go directly to Stop The Movement, a local non-profit organization dedicated to ending human trafficking and youth online exploitation. The event is held at Al Lopez Park in Tampa, Florida.
Distances
The event features four separate race options:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
- 5K Run/Walk - 12 & Under
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk - 12 & Under
The 5K is chip-timed, while the 1-mile event uses a running clock. An awards ceremony for the 5K and top fundraisers happens after the races. Participation is capped at 500 entrants.
Registration and Details
Standard registration is $40 for adult events and $25 for the youth events (12 & under). Prices increase after March 7, 2026. Participants can register as an individual or as part of a team of three. Team categories include Men, Women, and Mixed Men/Women.
All participants receive a race t-shirt and a unique finisher medal for the 5K. To guarantee a shirt, registration must be completed by March 10th.
Additional Information
The event is dog-friendly. There is an option for participants to create a fundraising page; those who raise $100 or more can race for free. Awards are given for 5K overall winners, age group winners, top teams, and top fundraisers.
Packet pickup is available on Friday, March 20th, at The Running Center in Tampa, and on race day at the park from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
