Event Overview
This is the fourth annual STOGA Girls Lax 5K Run & 1M Walk. It is hosted by the Conestoga Girls Lacrosse Program with the goal of giving back to the community.
Beneficiary
All proceeds from the event benefit the Peter Kienzle Fund of the Fighting Back Scholarship Program. This Malvern-based organization helps individuals recovering from a life-changing illness or injury who lack the finances to participate in a rehabilitative exercise program. Over the past three years, the event has raised more than $75,000 for this cause.
Events and Location
The event takes place at Wilson Farm Park in Wayne, Pennsylvania. Two activities are offered:
- A 5K run
- A 1 mile walk
Registration and Amenities
The 5K run registration fee is $30 before May 4, 2025, and $35 from May 5, 2025, which includes onsite registration. The 1 mile walk costs $20. Participants who pre-register receive a t-shirt; those registering on site can check for availability after the race. Check-in begins at 7:45 AM at the registration table to collect bib numbers and shirts.
Race Details
The event features a scenic course. The 5K run will be professionally timed by Bryn Mawr Racing Co., and results will be posted on their website. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers in the 5K. Separate prizes are also awarded for the top three male and female TESD student finishers in the 5K.
