Event Overview
The Stingray Stride 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run is a school and community running event. It takes place in Wilmington, North Carolina.

The race is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026. The start and finish location is at Ogden Elementary School on Middle Sound Loop Road in Wilmington.
Course Details
The course goes through neighborhoods near Ogden Elementary School. The route is described as flat and run on roads. The course is accessible for strollers and wheelchairs.
Registration and Pricing
Registration is available for individual events and a family option.
- 1 Mile: $18
- 5K: $31
- 5K - Family Members (3 or More): $26
Prices are set to increase after March 6, 2026. A race shirt is guaranteed for participants who register by April 5, 2026 and attend packet pickup.
Awards
Awards are given for the 5K and 1 Mile events. For the 5K, the top 3 male and female overall finishers receive awards, as well as the top 3 males and females in various age groups. For the 1 Mile, awards are given to the top 3 boys and girls overall, and the top 3 males and females in specific youth age groups.
Supporting Cause
The event is a fundraiser. All funds raised will directly benefit the Ogden Elementary Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
