Stevenson Cheerleading 5K Run/Walk
The Stevenson Cheerleading 5K Run/Walk is a community race held at River Bends Park, with the gathering point at Hickory Grove Pavilion and the MTB trail area in Utica, Michigan. The event offers a single 5K distance for running or walking on a course that uses a mix of paved paths and crushed limestone surfaces.
The route follows sections along the Clinton River and passes through wooded areas and open fields. The course is described as mostly flat with gentle rolling sections. On-course aid stations are provided along the way.
Event entries include an official race bib, a 5K T-shirt, post-race refreshments, and professional race timing with online results provided by the Michigan Running Foundation. Finisher medals are available to participants who register by May 25.
A Dog Jog add-on permits registered dogs to join the 5K. The dog entry includes a commemorative bandana and access to dog-friendly water stations. Dogs must be leashed at all times, with a six foot or shorter leash recommended, and owners are responsible for ensuring their dog is comfortable around crowds and other dogs and for cleaning up after their pet.
