Steve Zemianek Bennington Road Race - 46th Annual
The 46th Steve Zemianek Bennington Road Race will be held on May 3, 2026 at the historic Park McCullough House in North Bennington, Vermont. The event includes multiple running and walking options for children and adults and has been a long standing local tradition.

- 3.8 mile run and walk
- 10 km race
Age group awards are presented for the 3.8 mile run from 12 and under through 90 and over, and for the 10 km from 19 and under through 90 and over. Awards are given to 1st through 3rd place finishers in those age groups. Walkers are encouraged and a top walker award is presented in the 3.8 mile event.
Event rules note that dogs, strollers, and headphones are strongly discouraged because of RRCA insurance restrictions. Participants using a stroller must start at the back of the field. Participants using a dog must use a four foot leash, observe a two minute delay from the rest of runners, and follow leash rules that are strictly enforced.
T shirts are guaranteed to participants in the 3.8 mile and 10 km events who register before April 16. A discounted family registration category is offered for families of four or more. Proceeds benefit the Coach Zem Scholarship, the BKVR scholarship fund, and the Park McCullough House. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
