Sterling Down & Dirty 5k : Stratford Short Beach
The Sterling Down and Dirty 5K Obstacle Race is an annual, family-friendly obstacle run held in September at Stratford Short Beach, 1 Dorne Dr, Stratford, CT. The event is a 5 km course with more than 18 obstacles along a beach route that involves sand and water. Participants may run, walk, or otherwise complete the course. Proceeds support Sterling Community Center programs, services, and members of the Resource Connection Program. The event includes individual fundraising with milestone rewards and options to join or create teams in four categories: General Teams, Sterling Spirit Teams, School Teams, and Corporate Teams.
