Steps Toward a Cure 5K
The Steps Toward a Cure 5K is a community-focused athletic event held at Carter G. Woodson High School in Fairfax, Virginia. Organized by the Max Pound Foundation, the gathering serves as a fundraiser to support efforts against pediatric brain cancer. The event is designed for participants of all ages, including students, families, and local neighbors.
Participants can choose from three distinct participation options:
- 5K
- Fun Run
- Virtual 5K
The 5K event is open to both runners and walkers. For those who cannot attend the physical location in Fairfax, a Virtual 5K option allows for remote participation. Additionally, a shorter Fun Run is available. All participants who complete their registration by May 15th are guaranteed an event t-shirt.
