Steps Toward a Cure 5K
The Max Pound Foundation is organizing a community event at Carter G. Woodson High School in Fairfax, VA 22031 on June 7, 2026 to raise funds for pediatric brain cancer. The program includes an in-person 5K race and walk, a short fun run, and a virtual 5K option to accommodate different participation preferences.

Published registration fees include $35 for the standard 5K, a student rate of $20, and $25 for the fun run. The student rate does not include a t-shirt; students are asked to wear gold and will receive a Max Pound Foundation wristband for the run.
