Steps of Success 5K & 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk
The Steps of Success event in Shelby Park Greenway, Nashville, is the 16th annual 5K and 1 mile family run/walk with in-person and virtual options. The in-person 5K is certified and chip timed. The event supports a Pathway to Success program for underserved youth and college students in the Nashville community.
Registration opens April 15, 2026 and closes July 1, 2026. Posted registration fees are $55 for the 5K and virtual 5K, and $45 for the 1 mile and virtual 1 mile. Early packet pickup is scheduled for the Friday before the event with the time to be announced. Race day packet pickup and registration will also be available with schedule details to be announced.
Awards are presented on the day of the event and include overall awards and age group recognitions. Award categories listed include Top Overall, Master (40+), Grand Master (50+), Senior Grand Master (60+), and age awards for the top three male and female finishers in each age group.
