Event
The STEPS 5K & Fun Run / Walk is scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2026. The event features a 5K route that starts and finishes at St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School and goes through Coral Gables and Pinecrest. Entry options include an adult rate (age 22+), a young alumni/student rate (open to ages 1-21), a Family Donor Package (up to four registrations, sponsorship of two Breakthrough Miami runners, and an $80 donation), a Family Fun Package (two adults and two children), and a Sleep In Donation. Teams may register but must have at least five runners; new teams cannot be created on race day. Medals or prizes will be awarded to the top three in age-and-gender categories, the fastest Breakthrough Miami runner, and the fastest overall male and female runners. After the race, refreshments and service activities will be available on the field during the results and awards period. Proceeds benefit Breakthrough Miami. Accessibility accommodations and sign language interpretation can be requested in advance. A supply drive will collect school supplies to support Breakthrough Miami summer programming.
