Stepping for Life 5K
The Stepping for Life 5K is a community 3.1 mile walk/run held in November 2026 at the Meade County Fairgrounds in Brandenburg, Kentucky. The event charges a registration fee of $25.00. Participants who register before October 23, 2026 receive a commemorative race day t-shirt.
Proceeds from the event support Meade-Breck Right to Life. Funds are used for legislative work, to maintain Safe Haven Baby Boxes in Meade and Breckinridge counties, and to support pregnancy resource centers and community outreach programs in the area.
Finishers receive awards and medals. The top two male and top two female overall finishers will receive special awards. Medals will be awarded to the top male and top female finishers in the following age groups: 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over.
The organizing group, Meade-Breck Right To Life, is a local grassroots organization with a multi decade history that focuses on education and community support related to the sanctity of life. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
