Step Up for Students 5K and Fun Run
The second annual Step Up for Students 5K and Fun Run takes place on May 31, 2026 at Mack Park in Indiana, Pennsylvania. The main running route goes from Mack Park through IUP and the fairgrounds, and the inclusive fun run is held on the track.
Distances offered:
- 5K for individual runners and a student category
- 1 mile inclusive fun run on the track
Event amenities include free access to Mack Pool for all participants after the run through a partnership with the YMCA of Indiana County. Additional on site offerings named by the organizer include a foam cannon, Kona Ice, pizza and salad provided by Romeo's for participants, and a photo booth operated by hello Concierge.
T shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by May 15. Early packet pickup is scheduled at Gingerbread Man Running on Philadelphia Street with two sessions: Friday May 29 from 11am to 1pm and Saturday May 30 from 11am to 1pm. Parking options at Mack Park on the morning of the event include the pavilion lot, the lot by the pool, and the lower lot near the grandstand.
