Step Up for Students 5K and Fun Run
Step Up for Students is the second annual 5K and inclusive fun run held on May 31, 2026 at Mack Park in Indiana, Pennsylvania. The event offers a 5K course that passes through Mack Park, IUP, and the fairgrounds, and a one mile fun run held on the track.

Registration options list an individual 5K entry at $25, a student 5K entry at $15, and an inclusive fun run entry at $10. Organizers partnered with the YMCA of Indiana County so that all race participants can use Mack Pool for free after the run. Event features noted by the organizer include a foam cannon after the race, Kona Ice on site, pizza and salad provided for participants by Romeo's, and a photo booth managed by hello Concierge.
Packet pickup will be available in Indiana on the day or days preceding the race. On the morning of the event, parking is available at the pavilion lot, at the pool lot, or in the lower lot by the grandstand. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
