Event Overview
The Step Up for Seniors 5K takes place in Granbury, Texas, at the Hood County Senior Center. All proceeds from the event support the senior center's programs, which include daily meals, activities, social events, and a Meals on Wheels program that provides over 1000 meals weekly.
Events and Registration
The event offers two distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
Early registration fees are $30 for the 5K and $15 for the 1 Mile, if registered by September 4, 2025. After that date, fees increase to $40 for the 5K and $20 for the 1 Mile. Race t-shirts are guaranteed for participants registered by September 4, 2025.
Awards and Participants
All participants receive a participation medal. For the 5K, the top three male and female finishers in each age group receive additional medals. For the 1 Mile, all finishers in each age group receive award ribbons. Age divisions are separated by male and female categories, spanning from 9 & under to 70 and over.
Logistics
Early packet pick-up is available from October 1 to October 3, 2025, at the Hood County Senior Center. On race day, walk-up registration is available from 7:30 AM to 8:15 AM. Pets are permitted but must be on a leash. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
