Step Up for Mental Health : Saskatoon, September 26 and 27, 2026
Step Up for Mental Health returns to Saskatoon on September 26 and 27, 2026. The event offers in-person and virtual participation, with virtual entries limited to the first 800 registrants. All net proceeds will be directed to mental health support programs in Saskatchewan.
Distances and courses offered:
- 21.1 km (half marathon)
- Kids Dash (12 and under; two blocks of Spadina Cres; heats for 8 and under and 12 and under)
- 5 km
- 10 km
Several challenges combine distances, including the Saskatoon Challenge, Saskatchewan Challenge, Paris of the Prairie Challenge, Daily Double Challenge, and Kids Hero Challenge. Each challenge includes a second medal. Only 100 spots are available in each challenge.
Registration opens May 8. Early-bird pricing is available through June 5 and specific race and challenge fees are listed by the organizer. All in-person participants receive a black bunny hug, a custom medal, and a race bib, except Green Bibs. Virtual participants will receive their swag package by mail in September at no extra charge. A New Balance tech t-shirt is available for purchase for $39, with $10 from each shirt donated to mental health programs.
Expo and package pick-up will be held at TCU Place on September 25 and 26. Host hotels include the Delta Marriott and the Holiday Inn Downtown. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
