Step up 4Ukraine
Step up 4Ukraine is the second annual 5K run and walk organized by UNWLA Branch 10 in Philadelphia on May 31, 2026. The event includes an in-person 5K along Kelly Drive and a virtual 5K option. The on-site start and finish are at the Steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The route turns near the General Ulysses Grant statue. Parking is available at The Oval in front of the museum and nearby areas.
Registration for the event is free. Organizers list a suggested donation of $25 or more; donations of $35 or more include a special event t-shirt. One hundred percent of proceeds will go to UA Mental Help, a Ukrainian charitable foundation supported by UNWLA that provides psychological support to people affected by the war and works to reduce stigma, improve quality, and increase accessibility of mental health services across Ukraine.
The event is not a timed run. Participants may run, walk, or observe, and may carry Ukrainian flags or wear blue and yellow. The event is presented as a solidarity and support effort for Ukrainian civilians and frontline medics. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
