Stella's Toy Drive Color Run - Wappingers Falls
The event is a color run in Wappingers Falls, New York. It takes place on April 25, 2026. The start and finish location is the Van Wyck Trailhead on Van Wyck Lane.
Two running distances are offered as part of the same registration:
- A 1 Mile event
- A 5K event
The courses are described as simple out-and-back routes. For the first time in 2026, both distances will be timed. The event is open to participants of all paces and abilities, including walkers and children. Strollers are allowed, and leashed dogs are permitted on the trail.
All proceeds from the event benefit Maria Fareri Children's Hospital and the Children's Home of Poughkeepsie. Participants are encouraged to bring unwrapped toy donations for these organizations, and each toy donation earns a raffle ticket for prizes. The event will be held regardless of weather conditions.
Registration includes a white cotton shirt, a pair of rainbow sunglasses, and a custom race bib. There will be no water or fuel stations on the course. A portable toilet is usually available at the trailhead. Packet pickup is available the day before the race at Fleet Feet Poughkeepsie and on race morning at the Van Wyck Trailhead.
